Update on the orphans

Greetings!

Just a quick update on our effort to provide Life Starter Kits for the 15 Belarusian orphans going off to school this fall....

As I write, 16 households have given generously — thank you!

So we’re only $1487.45 short of the Matching Challenge goal.

If (and only if) we can get there, a Matching Challenge will kick in, and we’ll have enough to provide Kits for all the kids:

Blankets, sheets, pillows, pillowcases, towels, teakettles, kitchenware, irons, table lamps, laptops, and more.

• If you’d like to help the graduating orphans, maybe think about being 1 of 30 friends to give $49.58 — this would make the goal.

• Or be 1 of 10 friends to give a major gift of $148.75.

• But whatever you can give, the orphans and their houseparents will be grateful!

And whether you’re able to give or not, thank you for journeying with New Thing!
